Pentium D 820在絕大多數(shù)項(xiàng)目中拿到了第一名。
整機(jī)性能、CPU單項(xiàng)性能以及多媒體性能測試中,雙物理核心的Pentium D 820占有很大優(yōu)勢。其中領(lǐng)先幅度較大的包括《Sandra2005》的CPU Benchmark、《Sysmark2004》的Internet Content Creation部分、《PCmark04》的CPU部分、《CINEBENCH2003》的CPU渲染和Mpeg2轉(zhuǎn)Mpeg4的視頻壓縮。《CINEBENCH2003》的雙CPU渲染模式較HT Pentium4快33秒,視頻壓縮快了大約兩分鐘。
3D游戲性能方面Pentium D 820讓人失望,其實(shí)這也在預(yù)料之中,早先的測試也顯示雙Xeon的系統(tǒng)玩起游戲來不會比同頻的Pentium4系統(tǒng)更高速,單核心、2MB L2 Cache的Pentium4 620在這個(gè)應(yīng)用自中微弱超出其他兩塊CPU。
在娛樂顯卡配合下,基本的專業(yè)3D應(yīng)用里Pentium D 820稍快于兩款單核心處理器,由于缺乏專業(yè)3D繪圖卡,這部分的比較并不很具有可參考性。
最讓人興奮的測試部分是視頻壓縮和3D游戲的同步進(jìn)行,Pentium D 820在這類真是應(yīng)用中顯示出威力!持續(xù)在前臺運(yùn)行3D游戲情況下,后臺的視頻壓縮時(shí)間比單獨(dú)壓縮延長了19.4%,前臺的3D游戲速度僅平均降低為單獨(dú)運(yùn)行下的90%;而對應(yīng)的Pentium4處理器,視頻壓縮時(shí)間延長了61.9%,3D游戲速度平均降低為原來的60%。
